This study was to present the suggestion for formulating an effective public sports facility management plan. For this purpose, it attempted to analyze the difference in the satisfaction pattern of customers using the public sports facility according to demographical/general characteristics. As a result, the following results were obtained: First, an attempt was made to analyze the difference in the satisfaction pattern according to demographical characteristics. As a result, it was found that the married group had the higher level of satisfaction with specialized service and differentiated service than any other group, while the unmarried group had the higher level of satisfaction with characterized service than any other group. And it was found that the age group between 40 and 49 years old had the higher level of satisfaction with characterized service than any other age group. Second, an attempt was made to analyze the difference in the satisfaction pattern according to general characteristics. As a result, it was found that the group of costumers using the public sports facility more than five times had the higher level of satisfaction with specialized service and differentiated service than any other group. And it was found that the group choosing the friend or neighbor as companion in visiting the public sports facility had the higher level of satisfaction with characterized service than any other group. And it was found that the group preferring easy accessibility as the reason for choice had the higher level of satisfaction with characterized service than any other age group, and the group preferring the speciality of programs the higher level of satisfaction with specialized service than any other group.
