This article is a basic study of the diplomatic mission to the Beijing Qing China from Seoul Korea in late Joseon during the 17~19 centuries. It sought for systematic and synthetic comprehension of the mission’s action through considering the places where they visited. The places are limited by the Chinese government of her own judgment, not only the official places but the private ones. That is the mission’s official residence Joseon-Sasin-kwan including the Working, lodging and meeting places, it is also the imperial palace and office agency where diplomatic documents and tributes from Joseon are delivered. This is the sightseeing courses for cultural and technical purpose. As time goes by, the Qing’s control of the mission became relaxed and the acting places were expanded through using some bribes. But some zone as the astronomical office were remained to prohibiting places till the last. The mission’s working places are the vital one where they studied and introduced the advancing civilization and system of Europe and China.
