Leeshang’s poem ［The First Poem］ has been interpreted in many others side. But the fact that the subject of this poem is child has not been noticed. You can interpret ［The First Poem］ more reasonably, if you keep in mind that the subject of this poem is child.
Leeshang revealed a big terror in this poem. The subject of dreading is child. The purpose of presenting of child is to show the sense of terror more effectively. This mean that he construed child as a existence being seized and not coped with a terror. The child in this poem represent a adult who is incompetent in front of too big terror. In other words, this poem expressed the powerful sense of terror which can make a adult incompetent effectively by representing a child.
The number of 13 appears repeatedly in this poem. This number of 13 symbolizes the situation that a big terror enough to make a fierce person into a person seized by a terror.
The child in this poem is interpreted a person who is as not sensible and competent as a adult. This viewpoint appears equally in his essay ［Dongshimhaengryul］, ［fatigue］, ［Give a toy to the children］.
Accordingly, the child is meaning-body in Leeshang’s literature used when he reveal a existence which is usually inferior to a adult and when revealing a adult’s incompetence to a certain situation.
