According to the land survey registers of Chungju-gun under the Great Han Empire, there was a total of 16.069 gyeol of paddy fields and dry fields in the village of Gaheung with station. The total of dry fields was 11.137 gyeol which was about 69.3% of paddy fields and dry fields, and the rate was higher than Gaheung-meonwon and Chungju-gun. It was same to Yeoktos. And the land grade of the village of Gaheung with station was high. Especially the land grade of Yeoktos was much higher than the village of Gaheung with station's and Gaheung-meon's. Kim and Park played a leading role in the owner of land and tenant farmer of the village of Gaheung with station There were 82 houses with 6 toile-roofed houses and 76 thatcheded cottages in the village of Gaheung with station. The rate of the thatcheded cottages of 3 kan much higher than other thatcheded cottages. However the rate of the thatcheded cottages of 2 kan in the village of Gaheung with station. was lower than other village, because the traffic and commercial business in the villages of Gaheung with station was more better than other villages. And the japan's market and base facilities in the villages of Gaheung with station showed japan's imperialism. 50 houses were located Yeoktos which was about 69.3% of 82 houses in the villages of Gaheung with station .
There were 72 landlord in the villages of Gaheung with station. If we classify them by land ownership, a wealthy farmer was 20(about 27.8%) and a middle farmer was 7(about 9.7%) and a small farmer was 7(about 9.7%), and a poor farmer was 38(about 52.8%). But if we classify them by area under cultivation and land rented other, a wealthy farmer was 22(about 30.6%) and a middle farmer was 9(12.5%) and a small farmer was 6(about 8.3%), and a poor farmer was 35(about 48.6%). It showed that a wealthy farmer and a middle farmer were incresed but a small farmer and a poor farmer were decresed.
