This study starts from the question about the way to improve the creative writing skills of students and how that can be achieved by examining the way 'Imitative writing' is used within Seol(Opinion) classical prose. More specifically a ‘Imitative writing' class can be carried out using a 5 step strategy so students can learn about expression strategy, analogical thinking, quotation, contrast and lastly studying the theory behind the story of the Lazy Peasant.
What we need to keep in mind in any study into the manner of Seol(Opinion) classical prose and its relationship to statement education is logical structure of the ‘Seol(Opinion)' and the evolution of form and argument. This would help people to write creatively about their subject matter and get a hold of the appropriate to solutions to improve their writing. In this study we have compared the group which takes the class for creative writing and the group that takes it for existential appreciation. Later, we might find that creative writing skills have improved compared to before.
‘Analogical mentality in the manner of the ‘Seol(Opinion)' The perceptiveness of others helps us recognize things that are insinuated and thus present us with a novel solution to a problem. As such this is a good model for students who want to prepare for the creative writing task. Normally creative writing education takes place in an environment where teachers avoid one another and there are difficulties over where the actual school is locate. However, teachers can gain valuable insight from ‘Seol(Opinion)’ Chinese prose and can learn a lot from this ancient mode of writing.
