The purpose of this paper was to study on the satisfaction and continual participation in college general physical education class. The results of this study are summarized and suggested as the following.
First, male students showed a higher level of satisfaction on classes than female students. Regarding satisfaction levels of classes according to grades, juniors showed the highest satisfaction level.
Second, when it comes to continuous participation according to sexes, male students showed a higher level of durability. Regarding continuous participation according to grades, juniors showed the highest level.
When it comes to durability places, most male students answered they used school facilities, on the other hand, most female students answered they used private sports facilities. Regarding grades, it was found that most students used school facilities. they mostly answered "interest" as the reason of durability. Though most students answered they used school facilities as a durability place, the current sports facilities of colleges are not sufficient at all, so it is urgent to supplement and expand sports facilities. If these facilities are supplemented and expanded, the above obstacles can be partly solved. In addition, regarding the reason of durability, it was found that most students participated continuously not because of health related to well-being but because of their interest and concern. Though interest and concern are important factors of continuous participation, interest might be temporary. From a continuous point of view, interest and health should be harmonized, and basic physical education needs to focus on the improvement of health.
