Mujeong(1917) can be understood by the formation of bourgeois illuminism and falsehood ideology self and through the process of self-development. The Kwang-soo Lee's theory of upbringing human nature is baesd upon the bourgeois illuminism and falsehood ideology view of human being in that energy of maral life can be found from thenature inherent in human being. in contrast with materialistic mechanism,this point f view premises that human and mature are living orgarmic unity. The theory of evolution which swept over the world history of thought has a close relationsip with this organic view of nature. The theory of social evolution in Japan, China, and Korea was widely spread over intellectuals in the form combined with national organicism. Mujeong imagines one harmonic community bu coinciding the view of the world of the theory of evolution and the theory or upbrininging human being. Hyoung_sik is an instance of modern individual who plans intellectual development and the improvement of spiritual life through education. He was given a shape as a character who was continuously troubled and was in discord between woman and traditional woman, and between the pursuit of spiritual and cultural ideal and the material and social desire.
Young-chae who was betrayed by him was freed from the feudalistic view of value under the influence of moderm woman who is called Byoung-wook. and she was ready for rehabilitation in the calm nature of Hwang-ju. In contrast with Young-chae, it stande out from dthers in the case of Sheon-hyoung who was benefited vbby modern education in that it was caused bu the religious pressure of Protestantism as well as patricentric authority. Hyoung-sik came to feel serious sense of crisis between young-chae who could be alble to put the blame on the betrayal of Hyoung-sik in contrast with the contents of will and Seon-hyoung who got to learn the feeling of speculation getting free from religious fetter. That is, he was faced with a critical situation of frustratiog his desire for successful love affair and social success. At that point we need to research the relationship among social and political. this paper considered first modern love story Mujeong on 혿 hapothesis mentioned abouve.
