The purpose of this study was to analyze exercise abilities between participating group(PG) and control group(CG) in physical activity program for infant. The subjects of this study were consisted with 222 infant.(Participating Group(PG): N=113, male-65, female-48 : control group(CG): N=l09, male-63, female-46) of 5 years. The measured items were the Standing Broad Jump, Balancing Backwards, 20m Run, V-Sit, and Trunk flection test.
The conclusions as follows:
1. Standing Broad Jump test.
Male of PG was significantly higher than CG(p<0.05, 105.10±12.33 vs 97.80±15.13). Female of PG was higher than CG(90.68±15.18 vs 91.00±13.48, but there was no significance.
2. Balancing Backwards test.
Male of PG was significantly higher than CG(p<0.001, 24.95±18.97 vs 9.65±8.86). Female of PG was higher than CG(21.21±17.11 vs 14.82±14.12), but there was no significance.
3. 20m Run test.
Male of PG was significantly higher than CG(p<0.001, 9.49±0.63 vs 11.11±1.66). Female of PG was higher than CG(10.62±1.13 vs 11.09±0.87), but there was no significance.
4. V-Sit test.
Male of PG was significantly higher than CG(p<0.05, 37.68±23.22 vs 23.14±20.53). Female of PG was higher than CG(40.10±19.18 vs 26.02±23.76), but there was no significance.
5. Trunk flection test.
Male of PG and female of CG was higher than CG and PG, but there were no significance(4.48±4.45 vs 3.00±6.06 and 5.94±3.68 vs 6.74±4.61).
In conclusion, we knew that regulated physical activities in infant. will increase each exercise ability. Also if female infant. were adapted different physical activity program, each exercise ability of their can increase as male infant do.
