The purpose of this paper is to present the necessity of and ways to revitalize the ministry of the migrant next generation in the Korean church at a time when the social situation in Korea, with 2.61 million foreigners currently residing in the country, is calling for new challenges and changes in the ministry of the Korean church. The Korean church has implemented various migrant ministries, but the ministry to the migrant next generation is still a blind spot of attention. The researcher first examines the current status of children of migrants and their social and spiritual characteristics in Korean society, where various migrants live, and then explores the “place” and “structure” that are the basis for important options for mission to the next generation of migrants. Specifically, it first explores the missiological implications of “place” in mission. Then, we will propose a “field-centered place and structure” for effective migrant next generation mission outside the church, which is the focus of this study. By “field- centered,” I mean that the places and structures are organized to be more field-centered while maintaining a balance between the church and the mission field. As the Korean church develops and utilizes these field-centered places and structures, it is expected that mission activities for the next generation of migrants will be more active and that they will become the new missional dynamic of the Korean church.
