Kim, Jun-oh revises 『Poetic』 and fluidly accepts the poetic changes of the time. From the first edition published in 1982 to the last four editions in 1997, 『Poetic』 has served as Kim, Jun-oh's own discourse topography recording the poetry scene. For this reason, the first, second, third, and fourth editions of 『Poetic』 show different systems, and their own poetic significance is also implied. If the first and second editions reveal the lost identity and poetic characteristics reflecting the state through a theoretical approach, the third and fourth editions form a pluralistic technological system by reinforcing a genre perspective and a discourse perspective. This change tells us that Kim, Jun-oh wanted to reflect the change from metaphor to metonymy from identity to non-identity, from big to small, that is, the change in the city scene over the past 20 years in 『Poetic』. And this rewriting process is also linked to the implementation of the ‘identity logic’. The changes by plate shape in 『Poetic』 reflect the process in which ‘identity as a practice’ and ‘identity as a composition principle of poetry’ overlap and unfold on the theoretical basis of the contemporary elements of the poetry field. For this reason, in order to closely grasp Kim, Joon-oh's poetry, it is necessary to review how the 『Poetic』 was revised and supplemented by plate type. This not only allows us to consider what kind of poetry Kim, Jun-oh's Poetic was, but also how our poetry has changed, how it has changed, how it will record the change in the type of poetry, and the direction of Poetic as a literary theory. As research on Poetic itself is gradually decreasing, the lighting of Kim, Jun-oh's 『Poetic』 will serve as an opportunity to newly interpret and recontextualize the original text at this point.

김준오는 『시론』을 개작하며 당대의 시적 변화를 유동적으로 수용한다. 1982년에 출간된 초판부터 1997년 마지막 4판을 내기까지 『시론』은 시 현장을 기록하는 김준오만의 담론지형으로서 그 역할을 해왔다. 이 때문에 『시론』 초판, 2판, 3판, 4판은 각기 다른 체계를 보여주며 그 나름의 시의적 의의 또한 함의하고 있다. 초판과 2판이 상실된 동일성과 그 세태를 반영한 시적 특성을 이론적 접근을 통해 밝히고 있다면, 3판과 4판은 장르론적 관점과 담론적 관점이 강화되어 다원주의적 기술체계를 형성하고 있다. 이러한 변화는 김준오가 동일성에서 비동일성으로 은유에서 환유로 큰 갈래에서 작은 갈래로의 변화, 즉 근 20년간의 시 현장 변화를 『시론』에 반영하고자 했다는 사실을 말해준다. 그리고 『시론』 개작 과정은 곧 ‘동일성 논리’의 이행과도 결부된다. 『시론』의 판형별 변화는 ‘실천으로서의 동일성’과 ‘시의 구성원리로서의 동일성’이 시 현장의 당대적 요소와 이론적 토대 위에서 중첩되어 전개되는 과정을 반영한다. 이 때문에 김준오의 시론을 면밀하게 파악하기 위해서는 『시론』이 판형별로 어떻게 개작됐는지 검토하는 작업이 반드시 선행되어야 한다. 이는 김준오의 시론이 어떠한 시학이었는지 고찰하게 함은 물론 우리 시가 어떻게 변했는지, 변해왔는지, 어떠한 가치로 시 유형의 변화를 기록해갈 것인지 문학 이론으로서 시론(詩論)의 방향성 또한 고찰하게 한다. 시론(詩論) 자체에 관한 연구가 점차 줄어가는 만큼 김준오 『시론』에 관한 조명은 현시점에서 원전을 새롭게 해석하고 재맥락화하는 계기가 되어줄 것이다.
