This study is to verify the causal relationship between mindfulness and resilience, mental health, and job performance of tourism company employees. The survey targets hotels, travel agencies, and MICE employees in Busan, Changwon, and Gangwon Province. The survey was conducted for one month from March 1 to 31, 2024, and a total of 400 copies were distributed and 362 copies were used as empirical analysis data.
First, four sub-hypotheses, including decentralization and control, non-judgmental acceptance and control, decentralization and positivity, attention and sociality, which are sub-factors of mindfulness and resilience, were rejected, and a significant positive causal relationship was established between the remaining seven sub-hypotheses. Second, as a result of examining the causal relationship between mindfulness (de-centralism, non-judgmental acceptance, present self-awareness, attention, and mental health, which are sub-factors of mindfulness, were rejected, and a significant positive (+) relationship was established between the remaining sub-factors (de-centralism, present self-awareness, attention) and mental health, and Hypothesis 2 was partially adopted. Third, as a result of verifying the causal relationship between resilience and job performance, it was confirmed that all sub-factors of resilience (control, positivity, sociality) and job performance had a significant positive (+) relationship. Fourth, it was confirmed that a significant positive (+) relationship was established in the causal relationship between mental health and job performance.
