Most of Paul’s references of κρίνω claim that judging spiritual things is God’s domain. In this vein, Paul claims that people should not and cannot judge. However, in several occasions, he opens and encourages the possibility of judging other things, people and even himself. This study analyses his reasoning logic with the six principles for the possible rightful judgment of human agency: (1) True wisdom does not belong to the natural/ordinary man at all. (2) For that reason, the natural/ ordinary man cannot understand the spiritual things. (3) God is the only One with the wisdom who can judge. (4) This wisdom can be derived by the intercessional work of the Spirit of God. (5) Then one who is of the Spirit can judge spiritual things. (6) He who has the mind of Christ can judge. This thought process may provide insight into Paul’s theology regarding judgment.
