PURPOSE : Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education is proposed in the context of Fostering Virtue through Education, which is an effective way of moral education and a necessary path for deepening Fostering Virtue through Education. With the help of literature, logical reasoning and dialectical analysis, this study explores the logical starting point and practical pursuit of Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education in the context of Fostering Virtue through Education.
CONCLUSIONS : The study concludes that the logical starting point of Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education is to establish the virtue of sports, which includes the virtue of sports ideology, the virtue of sports spirit, the virtue of sports humanities, the virtue of sports health, the virtue of sports rules, and the virtue of sports ecology. The basic connotation of Ideological and Political Education in Physical Education includes promoting all-round development, cultivating a sense of community, shaping innovative character, and complying with social norms.
