This study analyzes the current business of The council of school physical education promotion and analyzes the future business environment to propose alternative projects for business improvement in the mid- and long-term. The council of school physical education promotion is the only school sports executive agency under the Ministry of Education, and is promoting five projects: physical education curriculum, school sports club, physical education talent development, physical education portal, and international exchange. And, The council of school physical education promotion is promoting a large part of the articles of incorporation and part of the statutory business of the School Sports Promotion Act. The environment surrounding The council of school physical education promotion was analyzed by using the SWOT method, and the strength of the comprehensive and only establishment organization for the promotion of school sports, the weakness of the institutional limitations and the lack of available resources, the opportunity to expand the value of sports and increase social needs, and the threat of environmental deterioration and negative perception of physical education. The alternative projects for the business improvement of The council of school physical education promotion were developed based on the analysis of The current council of school physical education promotion project and the SWOT analysis of The council of school physical education promotion in the future, and the advice of three experts. Consequently, the four types of projects were derived: the physical education curriculum and the expansion of physical education participation, the activation of school sports clubs, the development of physical education talent and the advancement of competitions, the school sports policy project and The council of school physical education promotion administration project.
