This paper aims to examine how ethical issues comes from the artificial intelligence as an autonomous intelligent system. To show the ethical, technical and philosophical significance of AI ethics, this paper employ its unique position within the cognitive paradigm. Recent advances in artificial intelligence enable more direct access and intervention to human mind, which reduces the distinction between matter and mind and brings up new philosophical questions on human nature. Neuroethics takes interdisciplinary and integrative approach, in order to deal with the social, legal, and technological issues related to artificial intelligence, which cannot be covered by the traditional legal and social systems. Some of the ethical issues of artificial intelligence overlap with enginnering ethics but most of major issues of AI ethics are unique in that it deals with almost all the procedure from design, manufacure to use of artificial intelligence. Based on the unique features of AI ethics, institutions over the world are trying to offer recommendations and standard for ethical design of artificial intelligence. Considering the current stream of ethical implication of artificial intelligence, it is necessary to begin in-depth examinations of how we deal with the curret issues of AI ethics.
