This paper aims to stress research ethics using artificial intelligence(AI) as a tool and the necessity of unbiased criticism. With development of AI, it has been utilized in order to collect data, and to analyze them. Notwithstanding the diffusion, not a few researchers disregard ethics in using AI as an essential tool. This paper points out the present situation in academic field; and proposes that each academy society insert principles of AI ethics into its ethics code, regardless their legal necessity. Also, this paper criticizes biased critique putting weights on probability of side effects led by AI. In order to deal with this agenda, this paper discusses two issues: an argument on echo chamber in a closed media platform and the South Korean media's biased stance on AI employed in portal sites. Most of criticisms on filter bubbles in closed media platform such as Facebook have been discussed without fully understanding the goal of AI designed for customized services. In particular, this paper demonstrates factors which make the media hold an unbalanced position regarding AI embedded in the portal sites. The biased news articles focusing on side effects of AI could act as a stumbling block in discussing pros and cons of AI rationally.
