The purpose of this study is to maximize performance by recognizing the role of an athlete through sports psychological skill training and counseling for male roller players of the unemployment team in region J. For the purpose of this study, psychological problems were diagnosed through pre-interviews with coaches and players, and through this process, the goal was to improve concentration and confidence through role perception of athletes as a way to improve athletes' confidence. To this end, 7 sessions of sports psychological skill training and counseling were conducted, and the application of psychological skill training through training observation was confirmed. To confirm the effect of psychological skill training of athletes, sports performance strategies were measured before and after. As a result, all factors of sports performance strategy showed higher levels post-mortem than before, and the level of confidence and player role perception, which were diagnosed as urgent problems, was improved. The psychological disadvantages of roller athletes are reinforced through the perception of the athlete's role in sports psychology training and counseling, so that athletes do not waste their consciousness on unnecessary consciousness and do their best by participating in training and competition more faithfully to their role as athletes. This is thought to play a positive role in removing unnecessary psychological obstacles and improving concentration and confidence in the training of players to perceive their role.
