Korean society entered into multi-racialㆍmulti-cultural society. By this, Korea society emerged several problems, for example, arose social conflict because coexistence of heterogeneous culture etc. These elements become obstacle causes for national integration. For development of country, requiring enhancement of civic consciousness responding global age, and require preparing institutional apparatus for supporting it. This thesis bring up necessity need of civic education which is preparing multi-cultural age, and will suggest several alternative which is aim for settlement of civic education, through example of France. France evaluating achieved relatively success by relative successful social integration, although somewhat instable. France entered multi-racialㆍmulti-cultural society early, and prepared institutional frame. This thesis suggest several element for prepare multi-racialㆍmulti-cultural society. Those are as follows: Establish of integral policy in the view of national dimension, establish of exclusive charge organization for civic education, preparation of legal, institutional device for supporting multi-cultural family, interest enhance and leading by civic group and the mass media, establish of education system led by citizens, vitalization of social adjustment program, sweep away of prejudice to citizens to transmigrant and cultivation of global mind etc. But first of all, the awakening of national consciousness in people is important. Although nation established good policy and system, if there is no awakening for national consciousness and no meet to system, we could not expect success.
