Children of multi-cultural families can lack understanding on the Korean language and Korean culture due to the characteristics of their family members. Lack of awareness on safety can cause more severe problems compared to other cultures. Personally, lack of safety can not only cause damage to multi-cultural families, but also become a large problem due to the fact that damage to multi-cultural families can be caused by safety damage of social members. Education activities or websites for safety eduction are being operated by various organizations, but mostly are for Korean children and parents while those for multi-cultural family are very rare. Of course, there are local self-government organizations that operate safety education for multi-cultural family children, but this is focused on face-to-face education. In this study, necessity and plans for development of safety education programs for multi-cultural family children who have low self-defence ability are proposed. Among safety education programs, functional games that elementary students can easily approach are focused in this study.
