This thesis studied into how station villages and station workers exist in Kunhyeon system. The aim was to determine the operation of stations under the local government system. First, The village where the station is located, organized as an administrative Ri and called a Yeokchon. Examining 『Family Census Register of Danseong』, many Yeokins resided around there. However, Yeokins were not restricted to only live in Yeokchons, and not only Yeokins but also people who carry on different duty service could live in Yeokchons. Second, The grasp of Yeokins had been different in many aspects of 『Family Census Register of Danseong』 and 『Register of Sageundo Stations』. There was no sharing of information between the two systems. Lastly, there were some strifes between two units. According 『Yugoklok』, written by a Yeokdo's official, these strifes were coordinated by the Do's official.
