Our previous studies showed that liver specific-Prohibitin 1 (Phb1) deficiency induced liver injuries and increasing liver disease susceptibility. Therefore, we tried to find blood based biomarkers that significantly correlated with Phb1 deficiency by analyzing metabolites in a liver-specific Phb1 deficient mouse model. For this study, Phb1<SUP>-/-</SUP>, Phb1<SUP>+/-</SUP> and wild type (WT) mice were selected and sacrificed at 4 weeks of age then we collected liver and plasma specimens.
