In modern society, life expectancy is also rising rapidly due to the development of medical technology and improvement of the living environment. According to data from the National Statistical Office, the life expectancy of Korean men increased from 76.8 years in 2010 to 80.3 years in 2019, the average life expectancy of women increased from 83.6 years in 2010 to 86.3 years in 2019, and the average of 80.2 years to 83.3 years in 2010 to 2019. Compared to 1970, when life expectancy was 61.9, it seems to have increased by 20 years. Along with these changes, national income through economic development also increased. As one of the ways most people can live a long and healthy life, there has been more time and material investment in sports-related leisure activities. In fact, the participation rate of sports for all increased by 7.4% to 59.2% to 66.6% in 2019 compared to 2017. However, the increase in the participation rate of sports for all has positive factors, but 64.3% of sports for all said they experienced injuries in a survey of 3,000 people aged 19 or older participating in sports for all. It is judged that the increase in participation in sports for all due to the increase in life expectancy and economic development has not only a positive effect, but also a negative factor of injury. In addition, as a result of analyzing the injury experience for a year, there were one to three injuries, 2.7 injuries for daily athletes and 5.0 injuries for professional athletes, 1.8 times higher for professional athletes than for daily athletes. Among the participants in sports for all, those who experienced injury stopped or decreased sports activities (15.2%) after injury (49.0%), indicating that the occurrence of injury negatively affects participation in sports activities. Sports damage is classified into three common causes: sudden trauma, excessive use, and environmental factors, and occurs in various body parts. Especially in the case of the general public, it is caused by wrong habits or postures. As such, the sports population is increasing rapidly, but the number of patients is increasing day by day as prior knowledge of injuries and awareness of prevention and treatment fall short of that. Despite the increasing number of injuries, not only celebrities but also ordinary people are busy building healthy and solid bodies due to a lot of interest in their bodies recently. Among them, it is definitely abs. Abs have a meaning beyond just a slim body. It contains the message of “I am an athlete,” so I often think of abs as the first measure of “good body.” However, it is difficult to make your abs clear, and even if you increase your muscles by exercise, you can"t see it well because it"s covered by your belly fat. Nevertheless, people are enthusiastic about their abs. The reason is simple. Ironically, it is difficult to make abs. Excessive abdominal exercise to make abs without prior knowledge and awareness of prevention and treatment has a high risk of injury. However, abdominal exercise creates a muscle support layer that prevents back injuries. For this reason, patients suffering from chronic back pain are exercising their abs at home and exercise facilities for rehabilitation. However, inaccurate posture and wrong movements lead to worse results. Studies on posture and movement control have always been considered interesting research topics, of which various studies related to waist stability or core stability in the unstable surface are receiving much attention. It is based on the theory that strengthening the muscles that make up the center of the human body contributes to overall stability.Core exercise has emerged as a major trend in rehabilitation. During core exercise, abdominal exercise minimizes the contraction of the hungry muscle and causes simultaneous contraction of the abdominal muscle and abdominal cavity muscle, making it suitable for body stabilization exercise. If the waist is not stabilized, muscle strength and endurance around the spine weaken, causing tissue damage to the torso, leading to instability in the waist bone. Since it is related to low back pain as well as balance, the stability of the waist must be strengthened to maintain the functional stability of the body. Abs are muscles that make up the central axis of the body, and large muscles are basic muscles. The stronger the abs, the lower the back pressure. Leg raise, also known as leg lifting exercise, is a representative abdominal exercise along with crunch, which is possible regardless of location during abdominal exercise to train the core. However, leg raise exercise can reduce the effect of abdominal exercise and increase the risk of back injury by applying pressure to the waist if the leg is raised with the strength of the waist, not the strength of the abdomen. What is common at this time is spinal ligament damage or inter vertebral disc herniation. When the spinal ligament is stretched, the joint moves even under small pressure and the gap between the vertebrae widens, causing inflammation of the lumbar spine. If your abs are weak, they can not contract enough, making it difficult to maintain a bent knee position. When the knees are stretched, the back falls off the floor and bends in a round shape. Conversely, pressure is concentrated on the posterior joint of the lumbar spine, which can cause back pain. In addition, there is a high risk of disk damage due to excessive back force in the process of lifting the leg. Therefore, in this study, we tried to determine how leg-raise movements with many back-risk injuries affect back pain and abs by applying abdominal strengthening exercises using waist stabilization devices rather than bare bodies to chronic back pain patients.
