본 연구는 대표적인 독립운동가로 알려진 안중근 집안에서 다수의 독립운동가가 배출되는 영향요인으로 안중근 집안 여성의 독립운동에 주목했다. 안중근 집안 3대 여성인물은 독립운동가의 모친, 형제, 며느리로 독립운동을 실천한 인물이다. 안중근의 모친 조마리아, 여동생 안성녀, 며느리 오항선은 국채보상운동부터 3.1운동, 만주와 상해, 중경과 서안, 연해주 등에서 남성과 함께 독립운동 격전지에서 단순한 조력자 역할을 뛰어넘어 독립정신의 맥을 이어간 실천가였다. 안중근의 모친 조마리아는 황해도에서 국채보상의연금을 출연한 뒤 삼화항 패물폐지부인회에 참여했고 안중근의 옥바라지, 만주 및 연해주와 상해에서 독립운동을 했다. 안중근의 여동생 안성녀는 황해도와 만주, 하얼빈 등지에서 독립자금을 조달하고 독립군 군복 제작 지원하는 활동을 했으며 부녀자 중심의 재봉부대로 특화된 독립운동을 실천했다. 안중근 집안의 며느리 오항선은 김좌진 장군의 부하로 활약하며 독립군 투쟁현장에서 연락책임과 무기운반 활동을 했다. 이들의 독립운동은 독립운동가의 보조 역할자에 머물지 않고 항일투쟁인물로 성장했다는 것을 알 수 있다. 안중근 집안 여성의 생애별, 시기별 활동을 토대로 다음과 같은 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 첫째, 안중근 집안 여성독립운동가는 한국 근현대사의 흐름 속에 독립정신의 맥을 계승한 독립운동의 실천자였다. 둘째, 안중근 집안 여성의 활동변화는 민족공동체라는 자각부터 시작해서 남녀동권의식과 항일투쟁의식을 토대로 독립운동을 실천하는 것으로 나아갔다. 셋째, 안중근 집안 여성독립운동은 독립운동가 집안 여성의 활동 변화와 성장과정을 확인시켜준다. 안중근 집안 여성의 독립운동 사례를 통해서 독립운동가 집안여성의 활동에 주목하고, 향후 여성독립운동가의 인정범위와 기준, 추가 발굴의 과제를 고민해야 한다.
This study was to focus on the female independence movement in Ahn Jung-geun’s family Three female patriots in Ahn Jung-geun’s family whom this researcher noted, are the mother, brother and daughter-in-law of independence activists who practiced the independence movement. Ahn Jung-geun’s mother, Maria Cho, younger sister Ahn Seong-nyeo, and daughter-in-law Oh Hang-seon practiced the consciousness of national salvation against Japanese invasion as an independence movement and joined the independence movement. In addition, he was an executor who continued the spirit of independence beyond the role of a simple assistant in the battlefield of independence movement together with the men from National Debt Redemption Movement to 3.1 Movement in Manchu and Shanghai, Chongqing and Xian, and Primorskii Krai, etc. Ahn Jung-geun’s mother, Maria Cho, participated in the women’s association for the jewelry and recycled paper in Samhwa port after contributing the relief fund for National Debt Redemption in Hwanghae province, and supply with clothes and food from outside the prison to Ahn Jung-geun and independence movement in Manchu, Primorskii Krai and Shanghai. Ahn Jung-geun’s younger sister, Ahn Seong-nyeo, raised independent funds in Hwanghae province, Manchu and Harbin, etc., supported the production of independent military uniforms, and practiced the independence movement specialized as women’s sewing forces. Oh Hang-seon as a daughter-in-law in Ahn Jung-geun’s family served as a subordinate of General Kim Jwa-jin and engaged in the responsibility for liaison activities for weapons carriage on the battlefield of Independence Army. From the result of this research above, it may be summed up as follows. First, Ahn Jung-geun’s family female independence activists were executors of independence movement who inherited the spirit of independence under the course of Korean modern and contemporary history. Second, the changes in activities of women in Ahn Jung-geun’s family started with the awareness of the ethnic community and started to practice the independence movement based on the perception on the equal rights for both sexes and consciousness of anti-Japanese struggle. Third, the female independence movement in Ahn Jung-geun’s family confirms the changes in activities and process of growth for the women in the independence activist family. To conclude, this researcher considers it as it needs to focus on the women’s activities in the independence activist family and review the acknowledgment scope, standards, and tasks of further excavation of female independence activists through the cases of the female independence movement in Ahn Jung-geun’s family.
