Report Errors
As of November 2020, 16 agreements and free trade agreements(FTAs) with 56 countries have been in effect. Under the policy of market opening and FTA proliferation, the government is actively supporting small and medium-sized companies so that they do not fall behind in exports through the use of FTA. Nevertheless, it still shows lower utilization in their exports through FTA by small and medium-sized companies compared to large companies.
Thus, this study aims to suggest some solutions to increase the utilization of FTA through an empirical study on the satisfaction and performance of FTA supporting program. This study used multiple regression analysis with questionnaire survey.
The results of the study are as following. First, it showed that those four factors of consultants, consulting, lecture education, and operation of support projects had all significant effects on the satisfaction of consulting program. Second, it illustrated that satisfaction had a significant effect on quantitative performance, while not on qualitative performance. In other words, when the satisfaction of the companies that participated in the consulting support program increases, it was found out to have a positive effect on the increase in their customers, their export amount, and their utilization of FTA.
