This study attempted to measure the application value of innovative technology related indicators that hotel customers perceive and respond to in the process of visiting a hotel. By applying it to the expanded technology acceptance model, we tried to develop an integrated model of the technology innovation indicators of the hotel industry.
The customer-centered technology innovation index of hotel companies was established based on the research that developed the index through a qualitative research method. The model was specified with the intention of use as the dependent variable. The analysis was conducted through a sample of 400 customers who have actually visited the hotel and used information technology, and the results are as follows.
First, in the influence of hotel technology innovation indicators on basic technology acceptance models, it was confirmed that the convenience factor had the most significant effect. Second, in the influence of the technology innovation index on the factors of pleasure included the review of various dimensions of the technology acceptance model. The factors such as efficiency, accuracy, and safety were found to have a significant influence. Lastly, in the case of the technical factors applied in the hotel, it was confirmed that the importance of convenience and pleasure according to use rather than the value of use is stronger.
