The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between organizational commitment and self-efficacy of the employee value proposition(EVP) as an excellent tool for human resource management in golf courses. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, four research hypotheses were drawn through literature review. Based on the hypotheses, a questionnaire was composed and surveys were conducted on the golf course staffs in eight regions in Jeju. As a result, 220 effective samples could be secured and used for empirical analysis. First, the survey result showed that the employee value proposition(EVP) was found to have a significant effect on organizational commitment. Second, the employee value proposition(EVP) was found to have a significant effect on self-efficacy. Third, self-efficacy was found to have a significant effect on organizational commitment. Lastly, self-efficacy was found to have an indirect effect on employee value proposition(EVP) and organizational commitment. Despite these findings, there is a limitation in this study that was specifically investigated in Jeju. These results can be theoretically and practically useful in terms of human resource management of golf company.
