This study aims at suggesting a case of efficient management of adolescent sports activities, by reviewing collaborative structure of local community authorities through local government’s adolescent activity support projects and programs by linking with local society. In order to achieve the purpose, the qualitative case study method was applied on a youth management team consisting of ten adolescents who are attending in middle and high schools in Seodaemun-gu, have interest in daily sports activities, and like basketball, especially, and the following results were made. First, students have had expectations for new friends with adjustment to new environment through first meeting consisting of adolescent management and communicated each other, knowing them in progress. Second, adolescents have felt the preciousness of team plays in the common base of the sports, converting conflicts in career into happiness through new experiences. Third, the basketball game made by adolescents for themselves started from adults’ faith and both adults and adolescents have practiced socially the education outside the school through their sense of community ‘together’. Fourth, adolescents have emphasized the establishment of an integrated system to connect schools and local community, the invigoration of a variety of sports genres and the transparency of expenditure for adolescent support without discrimination, in order to share efficiently information and promote the project.
