The aim of this paper is to examine the metaphor expression of "flower" according to the degree of customary meaning of the metaphor, and to express the result as a conceptual metaphor. The degree of custom can be expressed differently in metaphor expression, but in this paper, it is divided into the expression of high custom and the expression of low custom. To this end, a collection of metaphorical expressions in which “flowers” are used as a source region is collected from a database that collects and organizes metaphoric expressions extensively to examine what target areas they represent. As a result, the metaphor expression that "flower" is used as the source domain is summarized as forming two conceptual metaphorical domains. First, ‘flower’ represents ‘person’. The word ‘flower’ for a person includes expressions that describe a person"s life, a woman, or a person"s characteristics. The expression of a person"s life or a woman as a flower is highly customary and is closer to the core of the metaphor of <Person is Flower>. In the case of the expression of a person"s characteristics as a flower, the individual characteristics were related to the characteristics of individual flowers. The following is a case of <good thing is flower>, where "flower" is good and shows good value. This includes expressions that represent the good itself or a good value in flowers. In the case of representing "good value", various expressions could be generated depending on the specific abstract value. The expressions of abstract value were relatively inconvenient and far from the center of conceptual metaphors.
