Japanese Government’s 2017~2018 School Curriculum Guidelines(學習指導要領) was a thorough analysis of future society and preparation for education.
First, The goal is to cultivate qualities and abilities on three criteria: knowledge and skills, thinking, judgment and expression, learning humanity to provide specific directions for the objective of every subjects. The goal is to revise the objective focused on qualities and abilities of the substantial instructional guidelines.
Second, it is that they made a qualitative change without cutting the contents of education. In order to recognize this and respond to the future society independently, Japan organized courses in the direction of researching more intrinsic methods of inquiry in terms of educational knowledge.
Third, it is intended to construct contents that stimulate historical thinking that asks the essence of history. By taking the components of the contents of answering the tasks and the questions, the students" thinking, judgment, and expressive skills will be developed, and the contents composition was greatly modified by emphasizing the use of materials to inquire the essence of history rather than the short-memorizing history.
