The purpose of this study is to research the phonetic ability, the learning strategies and the learning motivation for improving Japanese language skills and the learning.
Overall, if Japanese learners have an incentive to "improve their voice" it has been shown to have a statistically static effect on their learning strategy. There were no statistical differences in the effect of learning motivation on learning strategies based on whether or not a Japanese major was involved, and there were some differences in learning belief.
There are no statistical differences in the impact of learning strategies based on whether or not they are majoring in Japanese language, so learners who use "self-evaluating" learning strategies to judge for themselves whether or not they have been properly activated can see that they have a high level of Japanese speech ability regardless of their major.
As shown in the interview, the learners thought that vocabulary learning was the first priority for communication, and that the Japanese voice ability helped communicate meaning or showed proficiency in Japanese for smooth communication.
