Confucianism has looked at man as a positive object since Confucius. This is human emotion is included as well. In general, the scope of the subjective feelings and so every person feel the same is not easy to define a common emotion. If such feelings are there, they stem from an animal instinct of most human desire but can do. If the animal needs with is a universal value, and not just moral emotion can be called is probably it if there are emotions. Mencius philosophy succeeded and developed Confucius philosophy. This includes a discussion of human emotions, which is key to the study. The issue of this study is how subjective emotions change into universal emotions. And that"s melancholic feeling of shame (恥). Not completely out of the traditional social shame for Confucius. Mencius, on the other hand, succeeds in eliciting universal feelings, or moral feelings, at the same time preserving the distinction of traditional social classes. The method takes the form of proving universal feelings stemming from moral nature and arguing that it is human to choose them. In this process, an understanding of the concepts of value realization, such as 天爵and 舍生取義, a new class system based on value is requested.
