This writing is for making a general summary of Pro-Japanese activities that are shown at modern literature in Kyungnam region, which is mainly focused by works from 1938 to 1945. To reach this goal, languages used in works sould be considered. That is, there are three kinds of Pro-Japanese literatures written in Japanese, Korean and Chinese letters. Pro-Japanese literatures in Japanese were written by critics such as 조현연·정인섭, play writers such as 유치진, essayists such as 김소운, novelist such as 이주홍, and poets such as 고두동. Pro-Japanese literatures in Korean were poems of 유치환·이원수·권환 and a play of 김정한, who was novelist. Last type of literatures show Pro-Japanese literature of Confucians with two anthologies, which were composed of admiring poems for Japan's invasion toward China, so-called Sino-Japanese war. The study of Pro-Japanese literature in Kyungnam region is a way not to blame Pro-Japanese writers, but to find out desirable works and writers, and get social sympathy. It is wishful that many writers who have lived hard time of Modern Korea would cultivate interests continuously.
