This thesis studies the accepting and using aspects of the traditional poetry, Gasa in the creation of Chinese poetry in Late Chosun. These works are devided into two types. One is the translated type of Gasa into Chinese poetry style and the other is Chinese poetry with the scenes of singing Gasa, the respect and memory of Gasa writers and the worth of Gasa. First, Chinese poetry with Gasa was mainly created in 17th and 18th century, and there are 34 works of 18 writers. Among them, many works are related with Jungchul such as "Kwandongbyulgok" and "Samiingok." This means these works were popular and won the sympathy from the contents and the topics. Many writers are related with Jungchul in school, family and party ways. They were Seoin which was the powerful party in political and ideological ways in Late Chosun. Most works were created by listening to gisaengs' singing of Jungchul's Gasa. They show the feeling of the singing scenes, memories of loyalty and elegance of the writers, and the sympathy about the works. There are various styles, but Chilunjulgu, seven-word line style is the most frequent and highly evaluated. This is because Chilunjulgu style is a proper style for showing and singing the characteristic od Gasa as a song. Second, a translated type of Gasa into Chinese poetry style was created in 17th, 18th and 19th century. There are 19 people who translated Gasa, and there are 25 works. In this type, there are many works that are related with Jungchul. 12 people translated Jungchul's Gasa into 16 Chinese poems and many of the people are Seoin. There are Chilungoshi, Chosache, and Jangdangu styles in this type. From 100 to 500 long poems of this type were created. Literary men in Late Chosun translated Gasa into Chinese Poetry because they had wanted hand down Gasa written in Chinese letters worrying Korean version could be disappeared. They also wanted to educate retainers and people by translating instructive Gasa. These works are very valuable because they show the accepting and transmissive aspects of Gasa in the history of literature. They help Korean Chinese poetry to extend the styles with accepting the characteristics of Gasa by meeting and interacting between Korean literature and Chinese literature.
