This study was to analyse learning contents related to environment in high school science textbooks and then to examine implications of environmental education in science education. Science Textbooks including the 10th grade Science, Biology I, Biology II, Chemistry I and Earth Science I were analysed. The objectives and learning topics of environmental learning contents were compared scientific subjects. There are the highest percentage of learning objectives related to environmental knowledge. Chemistry I had the most space related to environment of subjects. Environmental pollution, natural environment, and environmental preservation and policy take up higher proportion in the entire contents related to environment in high school science textbooks. It was found out to be potential of environmental education in science education, because they are more than 10% of scientific learning contents. Also, it was found out that learning contents should be harmonized in aspects of balancing learning objective domains and considering environment curricula.
