This paper concentrates on how to improve orthography and expressions in government designated textbooks. It is related to promote textbook's readability, accessibility, unity, etc. The research was restricted within government designated textbooks for first and second grades distributed in the second half of 2009. Textbooks written through correct orthography and expressions are useful for students to learn grammar. The most frequent fallacy in textbooks is for word spacing. We can not solve the problems of word spacing with just finding and correcting each fallacy. The detailed guidelines about the complex problems of word spacing is needed for consistency in process of the textbook's supervision. And we also suggested the process of applying language regulations for punctuation marks to maintain the consistency in the real textbooks. In addition, we improved the expression in the textbooks focusing on how to change the sentences to more precise and natural sentences. Textbooks include many inappropriate examples in the aspect of the sentence component with position and sequence. The supervision guidelines of orthography and expressions in textbooks are maintained consistently nothing to do with the complexity of the contents in textbooks.
