Summarizing verse is a key summary of the contents of each explanatory text of Haerye. it is a text that requires both content and function, there is a lot of author’s prudent efforts. I paid attention to this point and looked at how the text type conversion appears in one text by paraphrase.
As a paraphrase, we identify the functions and values of the summarizing verse. I explore the summary strategy that summarizes the contents of the text, and the text type conversion strategy that recreates the form at of the text. Paraphrase, which is being used in Korean language education today, is a very useful strategy for exploring the relationship between the text and summarizing verse and the association between author’s intention and reader’s acceptance. I have identified that the attributes of the summarizing verse them selves have educational significance as a model of paraphrase.
