Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide vocabulary building programs and language interventions according to investigate the differences of word inferential reasoning type among intellectual, autistic, and children and explore the type of test. Methods: We analyzed the scores of the total and task types by examining the verbal analogical reasoning test for 16 normal children, 13 children with intellectual disabilities, and 13autistic children, each with 4 to 6 years of language Results: First, there was a significant difference between the three groups of the total score of word inferential reasoning ability and general children were higher than intellectual disability children. Second, the three groups were significant differences in order and categorization among the task types(function, sequence, antonym, category). Conclusions: This study showed that children with intellectual disabilities have the lower verbal analogical reasoning ability, autism children have high verbal analogical reasoning ability than children with intellectual disability in type of category. Therefore it concludes that further research is needed, such as autism and intellectual disabilities living in the age of the comparison group, language, age comparison group, comparative study between normal children.
