This research aims to examine the effects child care activities which utilize Fairy tale have on young children’s emotional regulation and pro-social behavior. The subjects were 40 young children 5 aged who attended private child care centers in S city. The children were allocated to either the experiment group or the control group. The data were collected for 6 weeks and the activity sessions were provided to the experiment group 2 times a week. The sessions consisted of an child care activities that are linked with fairy tale. To measure the group differences, the data collected before and after the experiment using emotional regulation and pro-social behavior scales was analyzedusing SPSS 21.0. The analyzed data revealed that experimental group have significantly higher score on emotional regulation and pro-social behavior scales than control group. Such result indicates child care activities using fairy tale have positive effects on promoting emotional regulation and pro-social behavior of young children.
