After the Korean War, Lee yuk-sa and Yoon Dong-ju were investigated and reproduced as a resistance poet who projected a "passionate national consciousness and a history view". These points are strongly exposed, especially in the differences in planning intentions between the first edition and the second edition after the war.
Yuk-sa and Dong-ju were embody knowledge advocacy and neo-humanism from the perspective of each person, which can be called the flow of history of mentality in the middle of the 1930s, and they were aware of the necessity of acting of intelligence. As he struggles with his role as the intellect of the time, they projects his thoughts into his own poetry, both of cross-national discourse compassions for the people and activist humanistic ideas. This philosophy of practice is worth reconsidering in that they cultivated ethical awareness at the global level in contrast to contemporary intellectuals incompetence and unethical abuse.
Writing strategy of Yi yuk-sa and Yoon Dong-ju, who transcend dichotomic logic such as dominance, non-domination, imperialism and anti-imperialism, are a top-level ethics that surpasses the existing evaluation of resistance poets. So I can reevaluate the life and poetry of Lee yuk-sa and Yoon dong-joo.
