This paper is a study on adaptation to college life of foreign students in Korea. Social relations is an important factor in foreign students’ adaptation to college life. But, social relations of foreign students are focused on friendship(the sam countrymen). For this, I examined how their human capital, course work, major, and satisfaction for university service affect social relations. The data used for survey and interview results conducted by Chonbuk National University for foreign students. I hope that this study contribute to policy proposal for foreign students through prevention of their dropping out and effective training talented individuals. The specific result is as follows. The study resules, the first friendship(the sam countrymen) has had no impact of human capital variables, the University service satisfaction factors both had a significant impact. Friendship(Korean/other) had a positive impact on all English language level, University courses/tuition, career guidance/counseling. Teacher-Student relationship has had a significant impact all the University service satisfaction factor. Among them, the social livelihood support only had a negative impact. The statement major of undergraduate courses is have a negative impact in friendship(Korean/others) and Teacher-Student relationship. With these results it is possible to offer the three systemic. First, foreign students selection will be considered not only Korean language skills but also English language skills in order to cultivate talents and moderate talrakryul decrease. Second, 1:1 matching program proposed operation in department level. Third, proposes to conduct foreign students damimje in order to improve the Teacher-Student relationship and career guidance/counseling. Fourth, co-learning system is needed.
