The proper nouns which appear in modern korean novels in 1930 are not so much a mode of narrating the private experience as a device to represent a consciousness about aporia of modern navel. Because of this proper noun, the boundary of fact and fiction becomes ambiguous and the relation between the inside of the text and the outside of the text faces a new aspect. The text with proper noun are classified into three types. First type is characterized by existence of author`s name, and thereby the boundary of fact and fiction becomes vague. Second type is characterized by the production of intertextuality, and this feature makes the boundary neutralized. And third type is characterized by the simultaneous production of two text, and this makes the inside and outside of the text cross each other. This kind of aesthetics tries to criticize the ideological trait of the realistic novels which simply identify the text with the real world. This type of experimentation which provokes the ultimate existence of the consciousness about writing goes before the genre or the text and can get a new significance in that it sets a question with novel itself by novel.
