This article is concerned with the description of professional texts in networking. It has been recognized that professional textlinguistics is a branch of linguistics and applied linguistics in a narrow conceptual context. In this article, I will try to analyze the structural and functional interaction of professional text on the basis of the investigations of inductive- empirical professional text corpora of various individual languages and communication sectors. In that case, it is possible to characterize the multidisciplinary professional text types. The necessity of establishing the independent direction of integration has been frequently emphasized from a methodological point of view. There have not been general textlinguistics models to represent the specific features of professional texts clearly. I would like to emphasize, therefore, that only a multidisciplinary approach can explain the complex relationship between mechanisms, ``professional texts/text types.`` From this perspective, intertextuality can be understood as a reference and cognitive processing of specialized information structures or knowledge structures which constitute different levels of professional texts/text types. This kind of networking professional texts of various individual languages has been, as Wilske & Krause (1987) suggested, referred to as traditional intertextuality. The intertextual relationship between professional texts/text types causes a very complex phenomenon. As a result, it is clear that the explanation of the complex determination mechanisms of intertextuality is only possible when the interdisciplinary research approach is well developed. And it is presumed that Moe`s advanced studies would be extended to inductive-empirical basis of this multi-level approach. (Paichai University)
