This study investigated the tendencies and general distributive features of creativity related factors of activities in the Nuri curriculum teacher’s guidebooks as announced for 2013. For this study, all activity objectives listed in teacher’s guidebooks for the Nuri curriculum were selected for sampling. The criteria that were selected for analyzing creativity factors were the cognitive element (fluency, flexibility, originality, accuracy, imaginativeness) and the affective element (sensitivity, spontaneity, curiosity, openness, tolerance). The results of analysis depending on life subject, types of activities and age were calculated according to frequency and percentage.
The results can be summarized as follows: First, for creativity related factors that appeared in the activity objectives, the affective element was shown to be three times greater than that of the cognitive element. The largest number of creativity related factors were in the life subject-‘spring, summer, fall, winter’-. Activity pattern showed the purpose of free choice activities more than the purpose of large and small size group activities. Second, the creativity related factors presented in the activity method also incorporated the affective element more than the cognitive element. The activity pattern showed activity method of freedom choice activities more frequently than activity method of large and small group activities. And the older the learner, the more the creativity related factors increased.
