The aim of this study is to find out the effect of physique and BMI on the adjustment of college students. For this study, the writer sampled 720 male and female students from the universities of Busan city area. The results of this study are as follows : 1. This paper shows that the female students have more problems than the female students in adjustment. 2. This paper shows that the male students of short stature and the female students of overweight have more problems than tall stature and moderate-weight students of the same sex in relationship between physique and adjustment. 3. This paper shows that the male students of high level state of BMI have lots of problems in the campus & community life as well as whole adjustment. And the female students of high level state of BMI have lots of problems in community life and whole adjustment. And the male ＆ female students of high level state of BMI have lot of problems in the campus and community life and whole adjustment. 4. This paper shows that height of the male students and the next, weight of them have a great influence on the adjustment of them. But the female students are greatly influenced by their weight. And the height and the next, weight of the students of both sexes have an influence on the adjustment. 5. This paper shows that BMI of the students of male and female have a meaningful influences on their adjustment. According to this paper, the result of this study is that BMI of the students of male and female have a great influences on their adjustment so that the writer insists that a moderate method of weight-losing program will contribute to the healthful life of the students in their family ＆ campus life and their social carrier as well.
