This study is about weather high school students participate sports and understanding the effect. Also to find out the what is the true reason for hinder one's activity. The result came from on the actual condition from total of 1128 students (663 male students and 465 female students).
1. Only 7.2% of students participate in sports from joining clubs and teams but rest 92.8% of high school students do not participate with any kind of sports.
2. 79.4% of students play any kind of sports at least once a week and 20.7% of students never play any kind of sports. Found out that more students prefer play or participate in sports once or twice a week but there are 20.7% of students who do not even do any kind of activity.
3. From a research, female students had less ratio rate compare to male students on how long they play any kind of activity because many female students do not even do anything.
4. Male students got influenced by their friends and female selected none. However many female students picked teachers as influencer so teachers have very positive effect.
5. For male students, they picked soccer, basketball, martial arts, badminton, and jogging or walking as favourite and enjoy activity in ranking. For female students, they prefer jogging or walking, badminton, dance and basketball.
6. The effect on participating sports came up very positive from both gender students. However male students evaluated much higher than female students.
7. Reasons from male students for distracting sports activity were not enough director, other hobbies, not good enough, and not enough facilities. And from female students, they added not enough time and it is too rough for them to combine sports and studying. Many of female students have negative point of view when they talk about sports.
