The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of programs supporting employment management costs for employers who employee people with disabilities on employment sustainability. This study uses the non-experiment method to analyze the policy effects of the employment management cost support program(turnover effect).
First, the effect of employment management cost support on the job retention of workers with disability was analyzed with the OLS. As a result employment management cost contributed to the employment sustainability of workers with disability. Second, the effect of disability employment management cost support on employment and turnover rates were analyzed through hazard analysis. When we designated the duration period of service provided as the dependent variable, the results showed that employment management cost support increased job retention and decreased turnover rates. Third, the difference among groups depending on the existence of employment management cost support was analyzed. As a result, workers with disabilities who received employment management cost retained their jobs longer.
Apart from the employment management cost support program, other political options can be implemented to retain jobs for workers with disabilities. We hope many more policies shall be adopted to facilitate disability-friendly workplaces to increase job retention for workers with disabilities.
