The purpose of this study is to research strategies for effectively providing employment service for students with disabilities. This study focuses on cases of transition services in special education system. The research methods for this study include survey and interviews with special education teacher taking charge of transition service to work.
The suggestions of analysis are follows. First, the employment service for students with disabilities is needed to be case-management especially for targets who requires integrated and continuous supported service.
Seconds, the employment service is provided autonomous and selective for targets who needs one or two services such as vocational training, job placement, starting up own business. Thirds, the development of suitable jobs will be useful for the students with disabilities because there are few jobs for the severe and mental disabilities in competitive markets.
And finally, last but not least, the cooperative inter organization among education, employment and welfare are essential for successful employment service.
