The purpose of this study is to evaluate outcomes of the supported employment program implemented by the Korea Employment Promotion Agency for the Disabled (KEPAD). Data regarding the prevocational training for the disabled from 2000 to 2008 accumulated by the KEPAD are utilized. The methodologies used in the study are logistic regression, multiple regression and Cox"s Proportional Hazards Regression.
One clear result is that those who participated in the supported employment program are employed 30 times more frequently than those who do not participate in the program, and earned forty thousand won more per month as well. Additionally, a three-to-two correlation can be drawn between participation in the program and job retention. On the other hand, The program"s effect of period for getting employment. was not statistically significant.
