Recently, comfort and safety for the passengers and efficient information transmission, become the important issue when long-distance traveling in the train like intercity car. So the number of service devices in the rolling stock has increased for passenger convenience. Passenger Information Display in the rolling stock has made rapid progress and applied due to the development of display like LED and LCD. The development of Passenger Information Display will be continued with the growth of such technology.
Passenger Seat Display system is installed each seat and displays information about reservation status of the seat and destination for the passenger.
The present paper shows the cases of overseas rolling stock for the passenger seat display to the HEMU(High speed EMU) and study of the development, design and application of the system for the domestic rolling stock environment.
