Examined in this article are questions, such as how the people who participated in the demonstrations tried to integrate the altered statuses of their own lives and culture(altered by their own time) into those demonstrations, how they perceived the changes that were going around them, and how they viewed their own future. By doing so, it will be attempted to examine them(who has only been considered through the frame of nationalism) as modern entities, and to define the nature of the modern demonstrations they developed in cultural terms as well. The perspective is simple, and the primary issue of this task would be finding an answer to a question: how was the March 1st independence movement portrayed in the recollections of the people, not as a group, but as individuals. History of that time may be a well-known one to us today, yet the changes that happened to the entities who led those demonstrations, and changes to the styles of demonstrations themselves would have been fairly new to the people of the time. By examining it, we would be able to determine how a new kind of recollections of those 'modern' demonstrations, other than the traditional revolts and insurrections of the past, were actually born.
